Arthur Gorman Hopkins, Jr.

ARTHUR GORMAN HOPKINS, JR., age 75, of Havre de Grace, died at Gilchrist Center, Towson, on May 11, 2003. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of the late Arthur Gorman, Sr. and Ella Morris Hopkins. He was the owner and operator of a dairy farm called Level Green Farm, Havre de Grace and spent most of his life farming. He was an active and lifelong member of Hopewell Methodist Church in Havre de Grace, a former member of the Havre de Grace Rotary, and a member of the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed his fellowship at Roy Rogers in Churchville every morning. He was a sports fan of all the local teams in Fallston, and those in Baltimore and Maryland.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his wife, Ann Hopkins Gregory; two sons, David Hopkins and his wife, Michele Hopkins of Havre de Grace; Dr. Daniel Hopkins and his wife, Dr. Katherine Hopkins of Havre de Grace; a daughter, Alice Puckett and her husband, Mark Puckett of Churchville; step-son, George G. Gregory and his wife, Christine Gregory of Havre de Grace; step-daughter, Pam Gregory Cohen and her husband, Stuart Cohen of Darlington; five grandchildren, Aaron Hopkins of Havre de Grace; William Hopkins of Havre de Grace; Mitchell Hopkins of Havre de Grace; Andy Puckett of Churchville; Lindsey Puckett of Churchville; four step-grandchildren, Hannah Gregory of Havre de Grace; Margaret Gregory of Havre de Grace; Eleanor Cohen of Darlington; and Josephine Cohen of Darlington.

Pallbearers will be: George Gregory, Stuart Cohen, Jim Twitchell, Robert Tibbs, Nolan Gallion, and Emerson Hartzell. Honorary pallbearers will be: William Knight, Harold Stearn, Eldon Stearn, Vernon Stearn, Carl Stearn, and Kenneth Stearn.
