Arlene P. Magness

Arlene P. Magness, age 94, of Perryville, MD passed away on January 24, 2017 at the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center in Rising Sun, MD. Born in Lansdowne, PA, she was the daughter of Cecil and Mabel (Barton) Peeples and was the wife of the late James H. Magness. She was a graduate of Eastern High School and Towson State Teacher's College. She had been a volunteer at Fallston General Hospital and was a devoted member of Mountain Christian Church and the Inner Wheel. She was also a Life Member of Steppingstone Museum.

Mrs. Magness is survived by three sons, J. Lee (Patricia) Magness, John C. (Joanne) Magness and Jay M. (Nadine) Magness; grandsons, M. Alexander (Maribeth), Erik (Yooson), Ethan (Betsy) and Adam P.G. Magness; great-grandchildren, Leigh, Evan, Lane, Bryant and Abigail. Also survived by numerous nephews and nieces and extended loving family including, Judith Houck (Dan) and their child Julie, and Kathleen Mentz (Hugh) and their children Tori and Patrick.
