Arlen "Art" Baker

Arlen “Art” Baker, age 97 of Bel Air, MD passed away peacefully on January 18th, 2025. He was the beloved husband of 76 years to the late Nellie Mae Baker. Art was the owner/operator of Penn Wood Builders. He was known for his love of NASCAR and was a collector of NASCAR memorabilia. He was an old car enthusiast and loved tinkering with his collection.  

Arlen is survived by two sons, Gary Baker (Delores) and Randy Baker; four grandchildren, Dawn Chester (Todd), Keri Morgan, Paul Place, and James Baker; seven great-grandchildren, Brett Cochran, Chris Baker (Olivia), Summer Morgan, Megan Chester, Josh Place, Ava Baker, and Emma Baker; and two great-great-grandchildren, Paisley Brown and Colson Miller.  

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Wyatt, son, Donald Charles Baker (Carol), and mother, Mabel Baker.
