Aria Lee Shirley

ARIA LEE (TINY) SHIRLEY, 74, of Abingdon, died at Lorien Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Belcamp, Maryland, on December 16, 2003. Born and raised in Midland, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late William Samuel and Julia Snow Golding and the wife of the late Benjamin Shirley. She was an avid cook and loved to sing.

Mrs. Shirley is survived by three sons, Vincient Shirley of Frankfurt, Germany, Harry Shirley of Midland, Pennsylvania, and Sean Shirley of New Castle, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Deborah Washington of West Memphis, Arkansas, Bonita Chestnutt of Fairfax, Virginia, and Kathie V. Ashley and her husband, Lester Ashley of Abingdon, Maryland; a brother, John Golding of Cleveland, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, William Earl Dickey; three brothers, Frank Golding, Aaron Golding and General Golding, and two sisters, Erma Cook and Thelma Rayford.
