Anthony ''Tony'' J. Abbazia

Anthony "Tony" J. Abbazia, age 78, of Bel Air, MD passed away on June 1, 2014 at the Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired, after 24 years, as a police officer with the Suffolk County Police Department. He had also worked for eight years at the Harford County Detention Center. He was a member of the FOP, the American Legion Post #39 in Bel Air, Suffolk County Alumni Association and The International Police Association.
