Anthony R. Lombardi

Anthony R. Lombardi, age 90, of Joppa, MD, passed away on March 14, 2017 at Forest Hill Health and Rehab in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Nicolo and Pasqualina (Tiburzzi) Lombardi. He worked as an electrician for 35 years on Edgewood Arsenal area of APG. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bradshaw, the Knights of Columbus and American Legion of Edgewood. An avid Orioles and Baltimore Colts fan, he was a jokester, prankster and the entertainment at family gatherings. He enjoyed saving animals.

Mr. Lombardi is survived by his wife of 65 years, Charlotte (Maxwell) Lombardi; children, Geanine Jones, Nicholas Thomas Lombardi of Joppa, Dina Lombardi-Cavallaro of Forest Hill; brother, Nicholas Lombardi of Raleigh, NC; sisters, Mary Olszewski of Parkville, Lucy Sgroi of Sparrows Point, Rita Zoppo of Parkville, Victoria Falcone of Joppa, Eleanor Appetito of The Villages, FL; and grandchildren Zachary Jones and Emily Johnson.
