ANTHONY FRANCIS DeLUCA, age 78, of Aberdeen, died in Perry Point Veterans Hospital on September 30, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Michael Frank and Josephine Bonnigovani DeLuca. He had retired from Home Sales and Hill Management Co. and worked as the vice president Director of Maintenance. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Havre de Grace. He was a past member and past president of the Sons of Italy, and a member of the Joppatowne and the Edgewood Golden Age Clubs. He enjoyed using his hands to do carpentry work and was very successful in growing roses. He enjoyed telling jokes and stories. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II in the European Theatre and received two Purple Hearts.
Mr. DeLuca is survived by his wife Patricia L. Cochran DeLuca; two sons, Michael Anthony DeLuca, Sr. of Fallston; Gary Edward DeLuca of Fallston; one brother, Frank Dominic DeLuca of Pasadena; three grandchildren, Michael A. DeLuca, Jr. of Bel Air; Anthony S. DeLuca of Fallston; and Alexander N. DeLuca of White Marsh; two great-grandchildren, Brooke A. DeLuca and Michael A. DeLuca III, both of Bel Air. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Agatha Gendson.
