Anthony F. Durdock

Anthony F. Durdock, age 66, of Joppatowne, MD passed away on February 23, 2016 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD he is the son of Dolores Antoinette (Bottari) Durdock of Dundalk and the late Anthony Matthew Durdock. He was a 1967 graduate of Patapsco High School and earned his Bachelors Degree from Towson University. He was most recently working for Quest Service Group as a project leader. He had also worked for the Hecht Company and Hamburger Clothing Stores in the menswear department. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Joppa. He enjoyed playing basketball, and when they were young, playing with and coaching his boys. He also liked traveling, driving, playing with his granddaughters, working around the house, and making his infamous Spaghetti which was voted world's best.

Mr. Durdock is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth A. (Costello) Durdock; sons, Michael A. Durdock and wife, Helena, of Mt. Washington and Matthew F. Durdock and wife, Rose, of San Diego, CA; sisters, Denise A. Murphy and husband, Jack, of Selmer, TN and Diane A. McDermott and husband, Dean, of Dundalk; and grandchildren, Sofia Durdock and Alexandria Durdock.
Visitation will be held at McComas Funeral Home, P.A. in Abingdon, MD on Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 29 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Gardens in Baltimore.

Pallbearers will be Michael Durdock, Matthew Durdock, Anthony Ellers, Chris McDermott, Dean McDermott and Jack Murphy.
