Annemarie Kroening

Annemarie Kroening, age 76, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on April 2, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of William Franklin and Helen Mae (Bateman) Smith. She had worked for C&P Telephone Company, Western Union Telegraph Company, and for Rosenburg, Prout and Greenburg where she was a legal secretary. She loved spending time at the beach.

Ms. Kroening is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. Kroening of Aberdeen and Bruce Zamzow; son, Robert M. Kroening and Wanda L. Kroening of Baltimore; grandchildren, Jessica Anne and Staff Sergeant Jordan Coquat and Francis J. Mally; two sisters, Virginia C. Smith and Linda C. Mullins; sister-in-law, Kathleen Smith; great-grandchildren, Juliahna, Jayden and Jaxon, Adrianna and Jeremiah; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward "Butch" Smith.
