Anne Lyon Knisely Canon

Anne Boyer Lyon Knisely Canon, age 85, of Bel Air, MD passed away on March 21, 2018 at Brightview Assisted Living in Bel Air. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Roswell H. and Virginia (Lohman) Lyon, Jr. and was the wife of the late Rev. Joseph D. Knisely and the late Herbert A. Canon, Jr. She was a graduate of Hood College where she worked later in her career. She was an active member of PEO, Chapter Q and Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Bel Air, Maryland.

Mrs. Canon is survived by two daughters, Anne Knisely Constantinescu-Brad (Mircea) and Ellen Knisely Bareford (Steve); son, Joseph D. Knisely, Jr. (Judith); grandchildren, Kenny, Beth, Sarah (John), Grace, and Libby; great grandchildren, Henry and Howard; sister, Elsie Lyon Hinkhouse; brother, Roswell H. Lyon, III; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held later this spring.
