Annabelle Bevard

April 23, 1931 — July 3, 2010

Annabelle Bevard, age 79, of Aberdeen, MD, died peacefully on July 3, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice in Towson, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Bevard and Lucille Virginia Ward. A longtime employee of John Hopkins Hospital, she was an avid bird watcher and gardener, receiving the City of Aberdeen Beautification Award for her backyard Fairy Garden. She also enjoyed painting miniature fairy houses, pictures, and birdhouses.

Ms. Bevard is survived by her daughter, Donna and her husband Frank, of Baltimore; granddaughter Rebecca; step-granddaughter Emily and her husband Shane; one great-grandchild, her buddy, Gina and sister-in-law Faye. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dale and Everett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice in honor of their nursing staff whose loving care of both Annabelle and her family made her journey very peaceful and comfortable. Gilchrist Center for Hospice Care, 11311 McCormick Road, Suite 350, Hunt Valley, MD 21031.
