Anna Overbay

ANNA “KAT” OVERBAY, age 86, of Bel Air, MD, died on February 25, 2007, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Atkins, VA, she was the daughter of the late James Gilmore and Rosa McKinley Leonard Welch and the wife of the late Frank Ernest Overbay. She worked for Bata Shoe Company for 24 years as a sewing machine operator. A resident of Harford County for 60 years, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, and baking.

Mrs. Overbay is survived by a son, Donald Overbay of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Sylvia Jeanette Burton of Atkins, VA, and Frankie Diana Moser of Aberdeen, MD; two brothers, Alfred Welch of Georgia, and Donald Welch of Aberdeen, MD; three sisters, Della Fouse of Atkins, VA, Maggie Bonham of Sugar Grove, VA, and Nadine Vipperman of Marion, VA; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
