Anna Mitchell

ANNA MITCHELL, age 83, of Street, MD, died on August 13, 2007 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born in Bandy, VA, she was the daughter of the late Marlan and Rosa Pearl Altizer Hall and wife of the late William A. Mitchell. She worked for Bata Shoe Co. for 30 years and belonged to the Highland Senior Center. A member of the Red Hat Society, she loved crafts and playing bingo.

Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a son, Rick A. Mitchell of Riverside, MD; a daughter, Shirley J. Appel and her husband, Luther, of Street, MD; five grandchildren; and a sister. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers and a granddaughter, Joyce Appel.
