ANNA MAY GIBBY, age 86, of Belcamp, died at Madonna Heritage Assisted Living, Jarrettsville, on February 11, 2004. Born in Wooten, Kentucky, she was the wife of the late Dr. Irvin Welch Gibby. She was a graduate of Berea College, Kentucky. She had lived in Salt Lake City, Utah from 1940-1956. A very talented weaver, she taught and practiced hand weaving all her life. She was instrumental in the founding of the Warped Weavers Guild and was owner and operator of Loom Art. She had helped her husband with his research at Cornell University. She traveled extensively.
Mrs. Gibby is survived by a son, Charles Gibby of Hydes; three daughters, Juanita Scott of San Pablo, California, Jeanette Gibby of Westminster and Kathryn Bull of Belcamp; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
