Anna M. Sadera

Anna Maria Sadera, age 69, died peacefully Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her family. Born in Indianapolis, IN, she was a daughter of Allie Cullen.

Anna was born on October 24, 1947, and was the younger of two daughters. On June 25, 1965, Anna married Ernie, her high school sweetheart and so began the start of their 52 year long love story together. They raised their two children in Abingdon, Maryland and retired to Myrtle Beach, SC in 2013 to enjoy the sun and surf.

Throughout her life, people were drawn to Anna because of her vibrant personality, her caring nature and her zest for life. She was a revered cook and baker who loved to entertain both family and friends. She was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother- she adored her grandchildren greatly and spoiled them every chance she could. In her spare time Anna enjoyed golf, gardening, shag dancing, reading and volunteering with various charities. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all that knew her.

Surviving in addition to her mother of Aberdeen, MD, are her husband of 52 years, Ernie Sadera of Myrtle Beach; her son, Ernie (Tara) Sadera of Northfield, IL; her daughter, Kim (Gerry) Timms of Whitefish Bay, WI; grandchildren, Meg, Katie, Jack Sadera and Abby, Jenna, Erin Timms and her sister, Theresa (Jim) Cooney of Bel Air, MD.
