Anna C. Watson

Anna C. Watson, age 82, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on October 12, 2014 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. Born in Glenville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Other Clarence and Georgia Bell Mabes Elliott. She had attended Dublin High School and was a caregiver for many years. She had volunteered for over 20 years for Harford Hospice where she assisted many people. She was also a teacher's aide at Dublin Elementary for 13 years. An avid boater, she enjoyed water skiing, motorcycle riding, flying and traveling in her motorhome. She also enjoyed square dancing with the Dublin Dancers and flying with her husband who is a private pilot. She was certified to land the plane if needed. She was a past member of Dublin United Methodist Church and was voted one of Harford's Most Beautiful People.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband of 66 years, George Thomas Watson Sr.; sons, Barry S. Watson Sr. and wife, Gail, of Fallston and Phillip R. Watson and wife, Sara, of Street; daughter-in-law, Sue Watson; brother, Ruben D. Elliott of Darlington; sister, Corina E. Head of Bel Air; grandchildren, Barry S. Watson Jr. of Centerville, VA, Leslie B. Watson of Arnold, George T. Watson III of Westminster, Casey P. Watson of Philadelphia, PA and Adam C. Watson of North East; great-grandchildren, Chloe B. Watson of Centerville, VA and Ashton and Braden Tucker, both of Arnold. Also survived by Donna Panzer, her "adopted" daughter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, George Watson Jr.; and siblings, Robert, Oakey, Roy and James Elliott, Marie Hall, Hellen Keyes and Margaret Powell.
