Ann Elizabeth Solter

Ann Elizabeth Solter, age 98, of Bel Air, MD passed away on February 28, 2017 at her home. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, she was the daughter of Jacob and Frieda Steinbrecher and was the wife, for 58 years, of the late Henry Solter Jr. At the age of five, she came to the United States from Germany aboard the George Washington ship. She enjoyed reading, gardening, entertaining and decorating her home. Her family was very important to her. She was a member, and volunteer, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Bel Air.

Mrs. Solter is survived by her daughters, Susan Hughes of Bel Air, Linda Bowman of Kansas, and Sandy Arrington of Bel Air; loving sister, Mary Lou Clay; grandchildren, Scott Hughes, Matthew Bowman, Stephen Hughes, Michael Arrington and Kristian Arrington; and nine great grandchildren.
