Anita Austraw

Anita Austraw, age 79, of Joppatowne, Maryland passed away on June 14, 2022. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Yonki) Vigoda and wife of the late Henry H. Austraw Jr. 

Anita is survived by her sons, Henry H. Austraw III, John (& Melody) C. Austraw, Jeffrey S. Austraw, Eric (& Jennifer) T. Austraw; daughter, Renee J. Austraw; grandchildren, Johnny Austraw, Alec Austraw, Jordan Austraw, Ethan Austraw, Elliott Austraw, Aven Austraw; sisters, Jackie Gartrell, Mary Stevens. 

She was a Christian & devout Catholic her entire life.  Anita loved spending time with her five children, six grandchildren, her two sisters and their respective families.  She enjoyed traveling to explore new places and gain valuable life experiences.  Anita visited her two sisters many times in Cape Coral, Florida upon her retirement.  She relished her time with them and their families and spent countless hours at the Cape Coral Yacht club soaking up the rays and cooling off in their swimming pool.  Mom was energized by socializing with people.  If it involved a bottle of white wine, even better.  She made many life-long friends during her 50+ years in Joppatowne and while working within the real estate industry.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed their various social gatherings.  Anita loved shopping with her friends and finding bargain deals.  The bigger the deal the better the shopping experience.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
