Angela Darlyne Barnett

Angela Darlyne Barnett, age 41, of Aberdeen, MD, died on May 25, 2009 at her home. Born in Havre de Grace, MD on March 19, 1968, she was the daughter of Bobby W. and Mary J. Fletcher-Schrock Cheek of Aberdeen, MD. A 1985 graduate of Havre de Grace High School. She graduated from Salisbury State University with a BA in Social Work. She worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground as an Equal Opportunity Employment Specialist, where she had started an internship as a junior in high school. She received the Disabled Employee of the Year Award from the State of Maryland, as well as, numerous achievement awards, and served on the Harford County Disabilities Commission where she was an advocate for the Disabled. She married her husband, Barry, on March 13, 2004 and honeymooned in Disney World. She loved her dog Rudy, riding motorcycles with her husband, reading romance novels, and she loved her family, including her nieces and nephews. She also taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, MD.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, Barry C. Barnett of Aberdeen, MD; son, Brien A. Barnett and his wife, Amanda, of Plattsburgh, NY; sisters, Mary Lynn Irvine and husband, Stevan, of Havre de Grace, MD, Jamie Cheek and husband, Jesse Brooks of Perryville, MD, and Trisha Grigoleit and husband, Rolf, of Havre de Grace, MD; and grandchild, Bailey Alexis Barnett of Plattsburgh, NY. She was the aunt of Ashley McCutcheon, Colyn Irvine, Nicholas, Megan and Nathan Grigoleit, Correy Brooks, Heather Damon-Pannone, Christopher Schneider, Allyson and Olivia Krajca, and Erin Barnett; and the great aunt of Emily, Evan, and Eli McCutcheon.

Pallbearers will be Steve Irvine, Rolf Grigoleit, Jesse Brooks, Brien Barnett, Robert Krauer, and Colyn Irvine.
