Andrew Stitchalk

ANDREW STITCHALK, 78, of Abingdon, died at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, on September 17, 2003. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Steve and Anna Stitchalk. He was retired from the U. S. Army after 23 years of service where he had obtained the rank of Master Sergeant. He served during WWII. He had also worked for Baltimore City for 23 years. He enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Stitchalk is survived by his wife of 48 years, Gisela Stitchalk; a daughter, Shirley Tate and her husband, Randy Tate of Indianapolis, Indiana; a brother, Steve Stitchalk of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; a sister, Mary Lindeman of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Dylan Tate, Ian Tate and Ariane Tate, all of Indianapolis, Indiana; sister-in-law, Theresa Wenner of Chicago, Illinois; and two nieces, Ingrid Wenner of Chicago, Illinois and Carol Mariano of Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
