Andrew "Drew" Eilbacher, age 23, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 2, 2011 at his home from complications of a brain tumor. Born in Baltimore, MD, he is the son of Albert George and Deborah Lee Bedell Eilbacher. A graduate of C. Milton Wright High School in 2005, he went on to graduate from Penn State University in December of 2009 and was an avid Nittany Lions, Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Reds fan. He was employed by the Maryland Golf and Country Club and was a Bel Air Volunteer Fire Fighter as well as a member of the United Fire Department Co. 18 in Altoona, PA. He loved fishing and was a first mate from age 14-20. During his journey, Drew was very courageous and rarely complained. He was always concerned about others and was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Andrew is survived by his grandmothers, Dot Bedell of State College, PA and Joan Marie Eilbacher of Columbus, OH; family members, Jay and Eileen Eilbacher, Don Robke and Wendy Eilbacher, Cindy Bedell and Guillermo Valenzuela and their families; and many friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Norm Bedell and John Eilbacher.
