Amanda E. Jackson

AMANDA E. JACKSON, age 75, of Abingdon, MD, died on June 14, 2006 at the Stella Maris home in Timonium, MD. Born in Sparta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Spurlin and the late Sallie Victoria Williams Smith. She was a homemaker.

Ms. Jackson is survived by two sons, Charles E. Jackson of Belcamp, MD and James E. Jackson of Joppa, MD; four daughters, Linda Ledbetter of Abingdon, MD, Janet E. Panuska of Essex, MD, Sherry Dolbow of Abingdon, MD and Amanda M. Bloxom of Joppatowne, MD; one brother, James Smith of Ducktown, TN; five sisters, Marie Sexton of Perryman, MD, Janie Gore of Kuna, ID, Jo Ann Jones of Seminole, FL, Shirley Paul of Sykesville, MD, and Thelma Furches of Darlington, MD; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Lloyd D. Jackson; two brothers, Robert Spurlin and Thomas Spurlin; and a sister, Viola Fish.
