Viet Nam era. He carried mail for the Edgewood Post Office after his retirement from the military and also worked as an electrician and produce manager at the Bel Air ACME.

"Pop", as he was affectionately known, loved to tell and write stories, poems, and share jokes. He was very creative and enjoyed working with his hands, as evidenced by his hand-made whirligigs in his yard and creations he made for his family and friends. In the last few years he has enjoyed baking fancy cakes and peanut butter/M&M cookies which he would share with his many friends within the community.
