Alta Cora Sargable

Alta Cora Sargable, age 84, of Aberdeen, MD, died on May 16, 2009 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation in Riverside. Born in Grassy Creek, NC, she was the daughter of the late Wiley Bradford and Rosa Lura Plummer Reedy and wife of the late Vernon Nelson Sargable. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Havre de Grace, MD.

Mrs. Sargable is survived by her sons, William Sargable of Perryville, MD, Donald Sargable and Glenn Sargable Sr., both of Aberdeen, MD; daughters, Paulette Barnes of Whiteford, MD and Dora Skillman of Aberdeen, MD; sister, Jessie Powers of Bel Air, MD; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jeffrey Barnes, Lee Sargable, Glenn Sargable Jr., Chad Sargable, Andrew Barnes, and Joe Skidmore.
