Alice Virginia White, age 77, of Aberdeen, MD, passed away on July 30, 2014 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Tazewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Blair Boothe and Virginia Margaret Belcher, and wife of the late James W. White who she married on September 25, 1961 and who passed away on August 23, 1988. She had worked for Belko Corporation in Baltimore County where she was a machine operator. She enjoyed participating in and raising money for the Relay For Life and loved helping with the Special Olympics. She also enjoyed making crafts, but most of all she enjoyed time with her family, and was known for organizing family get-togethers and family reunions. After joining Town Baptist Church a year ago, she then acquired an extended family.
Mrs. White is survived by her son, Don White of Port Deposit; daughters, Mae Hysell of Aberdeen, Theresa Hartman, Brenda Johnson and Debbie Rivas, all of Havre de Grace; brother, James Boothe of Pfafftown, NC; sisters, Nancy Sparks of Tazewell, VA and Ann George of Boerne, TX; grandchildren, Wayne Johnson, Allison Lane, David Fitzgerald, Stephanie White, Jimmy White, Tommy Hartman and Jordan Hysell; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea Johnson, Iain, Kiel and Vanessa Fitzgerald, Hailey and Jesse Lane; and one great-grandchild on the way. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Bill, Samuel, George and Jack Boothe.
