Alice O. Lehr

Alice O. Lehr of Abingdon, MD passed away at the age of 96 on May 15, 2016 at her home. She was born in Darlington, MD to Harry Hamilton Lee and Isabel Cornelia (Hamilton) Lee and was the wife of the late William J. Lehr Sr. Alice enjoyed canning, gardening, quilting and puzzles. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she served as an usher.

Mrs. Lehr is survived by her sons, William J. Lehr Jr. of Frostburg and Robert I. Lehr of Forest Hill; daughters, Joan A. Gruttadaurio of Prescott, AZ, Helen L. Rea of Ft. Wayne, IN, Mary J. Rembold of Abingdon and Joyce A. Mahoney of Inver Grove Heights, MN; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brother J. Stanley Lee and her sister Virginia Ware.
