Alfred ''Jake'' Osmond

Alfred "Jake" Osmond, age 81, of Fallston, MD, passed away on May 28, 2014 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur Vernon Osmond and Garfelia Florina Jenny Mae Fuhrman. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he retired, after 45 years, from Armco Steel where he was Supervisor of Employee Benefits. He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge and Boumi Temple. He loved his family, friends and church family, as well as, crafting, vacationing, drives through the Amish Country, as well as, shopping, golfing and fishing with family and friends. He loved trips to the beach because his wife loved them.

Mr. Osmond is survived by his wife of 59 years who was the love of his life, Dorothy A. (Sanderson) Osmond; daughters, Deborah Litchfield and husband, Michael, of Street, Linda Cassell and husband, Clay, of Pylesville and Dawn Weaver of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Michael and Amy Litchfield, Rebecca Litchfield and fiancé Doug Smith, Holly and Nate Robinson, Cassandra "Sandy" Weaver, and Brittany and C.J. Cassell; and great-grandchildren, Loken and Magnus Litchfield and Mackenzie, Bentley and Madeline Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Edward, Jack, Thomas and Arthur "Bud" Osmond.
