Alex D. Meritis

Alex D. Meritis, age 33, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on August 21, 2017. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Michael J. Meritis of Manteo, NC and Mary T. (Csizmazia) Meritis of Fort Worth, TX. He was the father of Brianna Mckenna and Armani Meritis. He worked in the restaurant business and was a big fan of the Baltimore Ravens.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers. Brother Michael J. Meritis, Jr. and his wife, Rachael, with their children Beatrice and Sabastiana Meritis; and brother Joseph L. Meritis; paternal grandfather, Alexandros Meritis; and maternal grandmother, Jeanine Kirwan. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and extended loving family, including godparents Flora and Steve Tomczewski.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Csizmazia and paternal grandmother, Ruth Meritis.
