Alberta Fairbrothers Bland

ALBERTA FAIRBROTHERS BLAND, of Glen Arm, Maryland, died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Baltimore on March 6, 2004. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Godfrey and Melvina Louise Wischman Fairbrothers, and the wife for 58 years of the late Albert John Bland. She was a member of the Eastern Star in New Jersey and enjoyed playing bridge. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society at the Glen Meadows Retirement Community. She had been a resident of Joppatowne for 36 years.

Mrs. Bland is survived by three daughters, Alberta B. Bernstein of Bel Air; Louise B. Winney of Fairfax, Virginia; Susan B. Dilworth of Joppatowne; seven grandchildren, Jason A. Winney of Laramie, Wyoming; Alex J. Bernstein of Bel Air; William J. Winney of Laramie, Wyoming; Gary W. Dilworth, Jr. of Joppa; Grant A. Bernstein of Bel Air; Caroline M. Dilworth of Joppa; and Andrew J. Winney of Harlingen, Texas.
