Albert R. Kilduff Sr., age 85, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on January 10, 2012. Mr. Kilduff was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Peggie M. Kilduff and together they raised seven children. Born in Ellicott City, MD, he was the son of the late Eugene and Margaret Kilduff of Abingdon, MD. A lifelong resident of Harford County he was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corp where he served during WWII. From 1955-1993, Albert and his brother Joe, owned and operated Kilduff Motors, Inc, which was an AMC/Jeep Automobile dealership in Edgewood, MD. After retirement, he joined his son Richard's company, ARK Machinery Movers, where he helped to install the first NMR Magnet at The University of Maryland. He enjoyed playing golf on Sundays and working around his yard.
Mr. Kilduff is survived by his sons, Richard, and Charles Kilduff, of Edgewood, MD; Stephen Kilduff of Havre de Grace, MD and Patrick Kilduff of Virginia Beach, VA; daughters, Theresa A. Jacovitte of Prescott, AZ and Mary Kilduff Klein of Abingdon, MD; brothers, James Kilduff of Sinking Springs, PA, Thomas Kilduff of Aberdeen, MD and Joseph Kilduff of Edgewood, MD; sisters, Frances Justice of Columbia, MD, Theresa Swift of Stephenson, MD and Rose Derby of Bel Air, MD; 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and dear caretakers, Rebecca Stout and Debbie McCarter. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Robert (Bob) who passed away in October, 2011.
