Albert J. "Al" Trageser

Albert J. "Al" Trageser, age 80, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on October 6, 2018 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Albert and Charlotte (Cannan) Trageser. He worked as a Hydraulic Engineer and retired in 1995 after 30 years of service with Bethlehem Steel, was a former member of Steelworkers Local Union #2610 and served as the financial secretary. He was an avid deer hunter and was a member of the Darland Manor Rod & Gun Club in Centreville, MD. He was a summertime resident of West Ocean City, MD for the past 22 year and loved to fish and go crabbing. He was a home team cheerleader, loving the Colts, Ravens & Orioles and an avid reader. He had the talent of vocabulary and wrote poetry for his family and close friends. More than anything else, he loved to spend time with his family

Mr. Trageser is survived by his wife of 59 years, Loretta Edith (Curry) Trageser; two sons, David W. & Denise Trageser, Sr. of Perry Hall and Brian A. & Shelley Trageser of Kingsville; daughter, Donna M. & Michael Trombetta of Perry Hall; grandchildren, Laura Trageser, Amanda "Mandy" Trombetta, Karlee N. Trageser, Brittany McGlothlin, David & Amanda Trageser and Michael "Mikey" Trombetta and his girlfriend, Alicia; brother, Francis "Pete" W. & Donna J. Trageser of Selbyville, DE; sister, Mary Cathy Roberts of Ft. Myers, FL; and brother-in-law, William J. Curry of Palm Coast, FL.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce M. Pool, brother, Timothy J. Trageser and brother-in-law, Gerald Pool.
