Albert Giangiordano

Albert Giangiordano, age 89, of Abingdon, Maryland, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024, at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore. Born on October 24, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Albert was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Concetta (Vallone) Giangiordano, and the devoted husband of the late Rosemarie (Simoncini) Giangiordano.

A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Albert lived a full life centered around his love for his family. As the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was preceded in death by his eight siblings. His greatest joys were spending time with his loved ones, making meatballs, and learning how to cook other Italian food, going on cruises, visiting casinos, and watching his favorite baseball teams play.

Albert is survived by his daughter, Lisa R. (Dwight) Fuller; his son, Anthony Albert (Graciela Rose) Giangiordano; and his two cherished grandchildren, Michael (Dagmar) Carroll, great grandson Soren Carroll and Christopher Carroll, In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Carroll.

A celebration of life will be held on October 20, 2024, from 12 - 4 pm at Libertore's of Bel Air
