Albert George Nickel Jr.

Albert George Nickel Jr., age 77, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on July 26, 2015 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in Baltimore, he is the son of the late Albert George Nickel Sr. and Jeanette Esther (Weibley) Nickel. He started his employment at Bethlehem Steel as an intern machinist and then went to work for Grumman Aerospace. His career involved material testing which allowed him to travel to various countries around the world. He enjoyed hunting. He was a member of Edgewood Jaycees, Edgewood Lions Club, BCCA-Beer Can Collectors of America and Westosha Lions Club and Allemande Square Dance Club in Wisconsin.

Mr. Nickel is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Marie (Shine) Nickel; sons, Jeff Nickel of Parkville and Scott C. Nickel of White Hall; daughter, Jaki M. Tucker and husband, Phil, of East Troy, WI; brother, Leon C. Nickel of Lutherville; sister, Dolores Righter of Monkton; grandchildren, Karianne and Aaron Voight, Sarah Niehus, and Quinn and Rose Nickel; and great grandchild, Oliver Voight. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Albert G. Nickel III; brother, Walter Nickel and sister, Jean Nickel.
