Albert Arnold Gericke

ALBERT ARNOLD GERICKE, age 88, of Edgewood, died in Mariner Health of Forest Hill on March 21, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Birgel Weinschenk, and the husband for 43 years of the late Gertrude Mary Leibig Gericke. He retired after 46 years of service with Baltimore Gas and Electric where he worked as a meter reader. A resident of Harford County since 1968, he served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion in Edgewood and Lord of Life Lutheran Church. He and his late wife enjoyed traveling before she died. He also enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Gericke is survived by one daughter, Rose Mary Rimmel of Edgewood; two grandchildren, Thomas E. Rimel, III of Laurel; Christopher A. Rimmel of Sykesville; two great-grandchildren, Destiny F. Rimmel of Glen Burnie; and Elizabeth D. Rimmel of Laurel.
