Alan L. Deboard

July 26, 1952 — October 6, 2004

ALAN “BUTCH” L. DeBOARD, age 52, of Joppa, died at Harford Memorial Hospital on October 6, 2004. Born in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, he was the son of Booker Lee and Doris Lauranda Walters DeBoard of Delta, Pennsylvania. A self-employed carpenter, he enjoyed fishing and working around his home. He was a member of Bel Forest Baptist Church, Bel Air. He served in the Army during Vietnam.

In addition to his parents, Mr. DeBoard is survived by his wife of 29 years, Donna F. Richardson DeBoard; two sons, David M. DeBoard and Christopher A. DeBoard, both of Joppa; a daughter, Tonya R. DeBoard of Edgewood; two brothers, Alvin L. DeBoard of Delta, Pennsylvania and Joseph D. DeBoard of Bel Air; three sisters, Patricia A. Coleman of Darlington, Rita C. Ravenscraft of Silver Spring, Florida and Donna L. Coale of Aberdeen; and six grandchildren.
