Alan G. Miller, Md

Alan G. Miller, MD, age 79, of Abingdon, MD, died on January 6, 2011 at his home. Born in Port Townsend, Washington, he was the son of the late Horace Gilmore and Anastasia Bennett Skeith Miller. He was a Captain in the U.S. Navy and retired after 22 years. He practiced medicine as a Psychiatrist and Psychoanalyst, and also retired from the Veterans Administration. He enjoyed working outdoors, football, golf, and was an avid reader. He was a loving, caring, and generous husband, father, and grandfather, who will be sadly missed by his family.

Dr. Miller is survived by his wife, Marilyn J. Meiser Miller of Abingdon, MD; sons, Kenneth Miller of CA, Richard Miller of AZ, and John Wilkerson of MD; daughters, Kerry Harris of Queenstown, MD, Kathleen Rondinone of CT, and Teresa Wilkerson of MD; brother, Robert Miller; sister, Virginia Bell of MA; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
