Aileen Nuth, age 90, of White Hall, Maryland, passed away on February 16, 2021 at her home. Born in Pamlico, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Julian and Ida (Woodard) Gregory and wife of the late Raymond Nuth. At the age of eighteen, she left the small fishing town to join the army, later becoming a mother and homemaker. A proud southerner, she enjoyed sharing stories of her childhood and was a self-proclaimed “Yellow-Dog Democrat.” She fed the birds religiously and tossed the dogs table food when she thought no one was looking. She was a tender-hearted person that loved her husband and family more than anything; she especially loved helping her grandchildren.
Aileen is survived by her daughter, Deborah L. Bell (John); brother, Russell Gregory (Nettie); and grandchildren, Christina R. Bell, Ryan C. Bell, and Valerie M. Bell.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Eugene E. Secord Jr.; sister, Martha J. Gregory; brother, Louis Gregory; and her beloved dog, Riley.
