Agnes ''Nan'' M. Polson

AGNES "NAN" M. POLSON, age 90, of Abingdon, MD, died on March 8, 2008 at Hart Heritage in Street, MD. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Currie Mackintosh, and wife of the late Joseph Polson. She immigrated to the U.S.A. with her parents at age 9. She grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Living in both Detroit and Plymouth, Michigan until moving to Bel Air in 2001. She was a life long, active member of the Presbyterian Church, loved to travel and was an absolutely devoted mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Polson is survived by two daughters, Nancy Jo Macfarlane of Abingdon, MD and Kay Grubola of Louisville, KY; one brother, Donald James Mackintosh Tucson, AZ; four grandchildren, Helen Ann Macfarlane of Denver, CO, Beth Ellen Kline of Rising Sun, MD, Morgan Elaine Vonberg of Annapolis, MD, Alexander Michael Grubola of Louisville, KY; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Eiligh Kline and Kate Ellen Kline, both of Rising Sun, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Alexander John Mackintosh.
