Agnes Cohee Bowman

AGNES “SINGIE” COHEE BOWMAN, age 89, of Edgewood, MD, died on October 20, 2007 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Rutter and Agnes Mary Carnes Cohee. A Harford county resident all of her life, she retired from Edgewood Arsenal where she was a supply clerk. She had a deep love for the Bush River and the Bay and all they had to offer. She loved and raised animals and enjoyed the outdoors, her flowers, and the front porch swing. She had a passion for the Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company and their dedication to the community.

Mrs. Bowman is survived by a son, John C. Bowman III and his wife Janet, of Edgewood, Maryland; two grandchildren, Juanita Leiders and her husband, John, of New York, and James Michael Bowman and his fiancée, Rebecca Lamb, of Snow Hill, Maryland; and two great-grandchildren, Christopher Andrew Rowley of Florida and Michael Scott Bowman of Edgewood, Maryland. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Michael Jay Bowman; and a brother and sister-in-law, Stephen Cohee and Margaret Cohee.
