A. Louise Ford

A. Louise Ford, age 93, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on September 28, 2011 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late George Ferdinand and Annie W. Lohmeyer Hartzell and wife of the late Edward Ford. An Edgewood resident for 30 years, she worked for Legg Mason for several years in the office and for four years at the Baltimore County Public Library on Taylor Avenue. A longtime member of Eutaw United Methodist Church in Baltimore, she was currently a member of Presbury United Methodist Church. Her church, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her life.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her daughters, Dorothy L. Penley and husband, Raymond, of New Port Richey, FL and Betty Rose and husband, John, of Lancaster, PA; four grandchildren, Stephen M. Rose and Keleigh E. Quigley of Harrisburg, PA and Michelle E. Silver and Bryan K. Penley of New Port Richey, FL; great-grandchildren, Zoe R. Quigley, Michael J. Quigley, Ian E. Rose, Samuel A. Rose and Benjamin M. Rose all of Harrisburg, PA; and dear friend, Hazel Dixon of Essex, MD.
