A. Jean Chell

A. Jean Chell, 81, of Whiteford, MD, passed away on August 31, 2015 at York Hospital in York, PA. Born in West Jefferson, NC, she was the daughter of the late James Emory Brown and Eula Elizabeth (Marsh) Brown. She worked at Jarrettsville Pharmacy where her favorite pastime, for 45 years, was to serve coffee and lunch. She loved her Lord and attending church, and listening to Southern Gospel music. She also loved to clean, enjoyed embroidery in her earlier years, as well as reading. The happiness of her family and friends was extremely important to her.

Mrs. Chell is survived by her husband, William E. Chell; daughters, Deborah J. Rexroth (Ralph) of Street, Judy M. Brewer of Whiteford and Betty Jo Williams (Robert) of Bel Air; brothers, Jackson D. Brown (Billie Ruth) of Milford, DE and Jerry H. Brown (Gail) of High Point, NC; sisters, L. Catherine Gilbert and Mary H. Leppo both of Churchville; grandchildren, Brandon Brewer, Patrick Brewer, Kevin Williams (Kelly) and Kirk Williams; stepdaughters, Connie Paradise, Robin Bowers, Amy Roberson and Lori Chell. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Roy Dale Morrison; and her siblings, Ethel Alger, Gwyn, Williard, Robert, Burman, Edward and Gale Brown.
