Mildred Norma Mundis

Mildred Norma Mundis passed away July 4, 2014 while surrounded by family and friends. Mildred was born August 13th, 1923 in Havre de Grace, Maryland the daughter of Lillie and J. Price Hipple. She was united in marriage to John Belford Mundis on May 30, 1941 in the parsonage of the Darlington United Methodist Church.

Mildred was predeceased by her husband and by two brothers, Bill and Price Hipple. Mildred is survived by her son James Mundis and wife Janet, daughter Pam Burton and husband Larry and granddaughter Amber Sexton. She is also survived by two older sisters, Anna and Ella and younger brother John.

She retired from the Procurement Directorate of Aberdeen Proving Ground where she served as Chief of the Processing Branch. Mildred enjoyed bowling, painting, animals, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her granddaughter. The family is very appreciative of the attentive and loving care she received from the girls at Bel Air Assisted Living during her time there.
