Lawrence M. Reichard

February 23, 1940 — December 17, 2021

Lawrence M. Reichard, age 81, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on December 17, 2021 at his home. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of Arthur and Grace (Mitchell) Reichard. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired as a Full Colonel where he worked in the Medical Corp serving 30 years.  He enjoyed watching sports and following the Ravens and the San Francisco Giants. After retiring, he volunteered and then worked as a substitute teacher at Magnolia Middle School for about 8 years. He loved his German Shepherds, Max & Bear.     


Lawrence is survived by his wife of 58 years on December 28th, Edda Reichard; son, Scott (Tina) Reichard of Key West, FL; daughter, Dawn (John) E. Swain of Sparrows Point; grandchildren, McKenna, Kyle & Camden; and sister, Donna Kern. 


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Faith Battaglino.
